We have officially made it through yet another winter, and owe a huge thank you to our members, contractors, partners, and everyone else we’ve had the pleasure of working with for making it such a painless transition. We’ve completed some very exciting projects this year already and can’t wait to see what the summer will bring.
If you’ve already consumed your body weight in turkey or ham, latkes or tofurkey (and avoided seating relatives that fight next to each other) the hard part is over. If not… here are a few reminders to alleviate other seasonal stress so you can focus on steering the conversation away from who makes better gravy.
Know Your House – Know where flashlights, emergency kits, fire extinguishers and back up cell phone chargers are. If something goes wrong, you’ll want to be able to find those quickly.
Don’t Panic – In the event of a major or minor catastrophe remain calm, get control of the situation, then worry about moving things out of harm’s way.
Know Who to Call – Homeservice Club is here 24/7. 416-925-1111. We know that home emergencies don’t just happen during regular business hours.
Know the Rate – Yes, some companies will charge overtime rates if it’s after hours or a holiday, but we don’t! No overtime, and no travel charges for emergency services.
