2022 Tile Trends
It feels like there is no end to the ways the pandemic has impacted interior design (and everything else). In truth it has shifted the needle on home trends, and shaped our design choices indelibly, and tile trends are no exception. In fact, tile trends are better than ever in 2022.
This according to the design experts, here are some of the tile trends we can expect in 2022.
Wallpaper Effect
Digitally printed ceramic tiles, or glossy lacquer patterns on porcelain stoneware backgrounds give these slab tiles gorgeous wallpaper-like patterns. Unlike wallpaper, these tiles can be used in any room of the house, without the risk of water or heat damage when installed near a sink, shower, or fireplace. These large format tiles have been gaining popularity as designers find new ways to use them – from covering entire walls and backsplashes to creating a floor design element for an entryway!
