What do we mean by our Double Guarantee?
Guarantee #1 – Each of our bonded, licensed and insured contractors stands behind the work they do for you – that’s your first guarantee.
Guarantee #2 – Homeservice Club™ adds its guarantee to that of the contractor – if the job is not done right and the contractor can’t or won’t fix it, the Club will – that’s your second guarantee.
“How are we able to offer this unique Double Guarantee?” – Firstly, Homeservice Club™ controls all payments to the contractor. Members only pay Homeservice Club™ and the Club then pays the contractor upon notification by the member that their job has been completed satisfactorily.
Secondly, all Club-authorized contractors post a cash bond with Homeservice to guarantee his or her work. This bond is your guarantee that if a job is not completely satisfactory and the contractor cannot or will not fix it, the Club has the funds to step in and fully correct the problem.

How does the 24-hour emergency service work?
Homeservice Club™ members receive 24-hour, 7-day a week, emergency service at REGULAR RATES – no overtime or travel charges. Homeservice Club™ offers 24-hour, 7-day a week service for plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, locksmith, appliance, and drain emergencies.
What type of services does the Club offer?
Homeservice Club™ can do just about any job you can think of around your house – big or small. Over the years we have done everything from change lightbulbs to getting a bat out of a member’s bathroom! The only jobs we DON’T do are swimming pool construction and maintenance and snow removal. For anything else, one call to Homeservice Club™ is all it takes to get the job done!
What kind of service can I expect?
When you call to place an order, you will hear from a contractor within 2 business days, often the same day. On emergency orders, the contractors would call you right away.
How do I place an order for a home repair?
How is payment handled?
Payments must be made by cheque – payable ONLY to Homeservice Club™ at 64 Price Andrew Place, Toronto, Ontario, and not to any Contractor. Cheques should be given to the Contractor on completion of the work, unless a payment schedule (deposit and progress payments) has been arranged prior to start of work.
Alternately, payment can be made by VISA, MASTERCARD or VISA DEBIT to a maximum of $5,000 per job. Any balance must be paid by cheque as outlined above.
Credit card payments must be called in to Homeservice Club™ and not provided to the contractor.
If payment is made directly to a Contractor or to a subcontractor for any work pursuant to the Contract or for any additional work, this shall not be deemed payment to Homeservice Club™ and will void all guarantees by Homeservice Club™.
Where do I go if I have a complaint/concern?
Your Service Representative will handle any concerns you may have. In some cases, Homeservice Club may involve an on-site inspection in order to resolve a complaint/concern.
